Intro to DISC Personality Types

The best teams are formed of people that are **NOT** like you. Increase your emotional intelligence by understanding the main personality types based on the DISC model. At the end of this intro webinar, you will be more aware of your behaviour and how you can start adapting the way you work to suit other people within your team.

Why should you care?

If the best teams are formed of people that are NOT always like you, what can you do to understand people who think and behave differently than you do?

Normally, we are drawn to people who behave like us, who like the things that we do. For example, fast creative leaders are more likely to hire people who can also come up with a lot of ideas fast. However, when looking at the team structure, they might benefit from someone who is good at jumping into details and assessing risks.

Having said that, having different personalities in one room can lead to conflict as people make assumptions based on others behaviours or struggle to understand how others process information or prefer to communicate.

Being aware of how other people think will help you reduce conflicts, be more patient and create an environment that nurture POSITIVE conflict and happy high-performing teams.
